He works at Brighton-based Black Rock Studio (formerly Climax Racing) where he is a Lead Programmer on a groundbreaking unannounced racing title that aims to ignite and excite fans of the genre with innovative gameplay and epic effects. Previous credits include development on the MotoGP series (including both MotoGP07 and MotoGP06) where he implemented a high performance crowd system and an original visibility algorithm using an offline automatic occlusion system. Prior to his move to England, he spent the previous 4 years working on the NBA Ballers franchise at Midway Games in Chicago. Matt was involved as a judge in the 2008 XNA Ireland games competition and has presented his work on MotoGP at the 2007 Develop Conference.
